What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work properly, to remember your preferences, and to give website owners basic information about how their sites are being used.
Cookies do not contain executable code and cannot access other files on your device. When you return to a site, the site can read back the cookies it previously placed on your device.
Cookies We Use
We use four categories of cookies on rattannbridg.top:
Required for the site to function. These include cookies that store your cookie consent preference (localStorage) so we do not ask you again unnecessarily. They cannot be turned off without affecting site functionality. No personal data is transmitted to third parties via essential cookies.
Duration: session or up to 12 months
Help us understand how visitors use the site — which pages are most visited, how long people stay, and where they come from. We use this data in aggregate and anonymised form to improve the site. If enabled, we may use Google Analytics. These cookies do not identify you personally.
Duration: up to 14 months
Used to show relevant content or advertisements based on your browsing. These may be placed by third-party advertising partners. Rattan Bridge does not currently run paid advertising campaigns, but this category covers any future remarketing activity.
Duration: up to 90 days
Remember settings you have chosen — such as language or region — so you do not need to reset them each time you visit. These improve your experience but are not required for core functionality.
Duration: up to 12 months
Third-Party Cookies
If analytics cookies are enabled, Google Analytics places cookies on your device in accordance with Google's own privacy practices. We do not control these cookies directly. Social media share buttons, if present, may also set cookies from those platforms. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any third-party services whose content appears on our site.
